How is it working with the Sanjay and Benaifer Kohli?

I am blessed to work with them. The producers, the director and the whole team is fabulous. 

What show are you doing currently?

I am doing Chandragupta Maurya in which I am playing the role of Sukhdev. It’s a comic character too. Sukhdev is the father of the lead female actress; he is a money-minded merchant.

What is your character in Jijaji Chaat Par Hai?

I play an astrology guru. He is a greedy person and fond of eating. He is a genuine astrologer with a comical twist. 

What do you have to say about the comedy industry?

I think there is a dearth of writers who can write good comedy shows, which leads to the poor performance of actors. I think most of the creative people in the industry don’t want to create new characters. They just want to copy some characters. 

Which are your favourite Bollywood comedians? 

I love the work of Om Prakash ji, Mehmood Ji and Johnny Lever sir.
