No biopics for Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan recently graced a book launch event in Mumbai. When asked about working in a biopic, the actor said that he gets scared when he is offered biopics. 

Varun said, “If I have to do a biography on someone, it would be my dad. I think it would be about his early life, till the time he didn’t have me.” He further added, “Whenever I am offered a biopic, I get scared. Most of the times, I don’t want to do one. I approach even my fictional characters as biopic characters. I am playing a tailor in Sui Dhaga. “

Varun was at the launch of Amish Tripathi’s first book in Indic Chronicle series –Suheldev& The Battle Of Bahraich. So, when asked about historical films, the actor said, “Unfortunately, this is a double-edged sword in our country where we have certain sections getting upset with certain interpretation. Everyone’s offended.”
