A three-day exhibition of traditional and contemporary designer wear, hand crafted lifestyle products, accessories, home décor items, has started at Himachal Bhawan, Chandigarh. 

The curators of the exhibition Yogesh and Pooja Chaudhary have ensured that the showcase has collections of beautiful rakhis and gifting options, keeping in mind the upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival. On till August 12, the exhibition boasts of as many as 60 exhibitors from across the country. Yogesh Chaudhary, director, Royal Day Events, said, “We have organised this exhibition to make this Raksha Bandhan — a festival dedicated to the bond of love between brother and sister memorable. We have brought silver, handmade rakhis and more. The exhibitors have come from across the country, with the latest and the trendy collections of traditional wear, accessories, footwear etc. All this is available under one roof.” Lumbas, which are also called bhabhi rakhis caught the attention of visitors. In designer wear, label Masakali’s suits, gowns and lehengas are the hot picks. Mahira Creation  from Delhi is presenting a plethora of dresses and printed suits. A Mohali-based label Aaizah Boutique is displaying dresses and lehengas for weddings.
