‘Kalank’: Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani make a ‘First Class’ entry

Conceptualised by Producer Karan Johar and his late father Yash Johar almost 15 years ago, "Kalank" is an epic drama set in the 1940s.

The makers have dropped the second song, ‘First Class’, which released on social media.

Varun said: “MASSSS #firstclass thank u to everyone behind this song I’m so happy #arijit has sung a mass number for me after palat http://bit.ly/FirstClass_Kalank …”

The song is choreographed by Remo D’Souza. The song features at least 500 dancers along with Varun and Kiara. 

 Varun Dhawan tweeted: "Guys we are running little late #firstclass is coming soon #kalank".

Varun Dhawan, who plays ‘Zafar’ was seen dancing opposite Kiara Advani. The foot tapping number shows Varun in white, while Kiara was in a traditional lengha choli. 

‘First class’ is composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh. 

Varun was seen constantly creating hype about the song release. 

The makers had released their first song 'Ghar More Pardesiya' on Wednesday, where Madhuri Dixit and Alia Bhatt have managed to leave their fans in awe.

The ‘jugalbandi’ between Madhuri and Alia was the highlight of the entire song. While dancing, Alia was a vision in white. 

‘Kalank’ is directed by Abhishek Varman.

The film is being produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta. It has been co-produced by Fox Star Studios.

Apart from Varun and Alia, the movie stars: Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. 

The movie is scheduled to release on April 19, 2019.
