Sonam Bajwa wanted to be Miss India

Sonam Bajwa is one of the popular faces of Punjabi cinema. The actress recently shared some interesting secrets on MX Player’s chat show, Famously Filmfare. Sonam wanted to become Miss India since she was 13. 

Says Sonam, “Actually, as far as I remember, watching TV wasn’t allowed much in our home. Maybe half an hour a day, at the most, my parents would allow. So, one day, when I was very young, I watched Miss India. I remember that it was the only thing that caught my interest. I was like ‘Oh My God, maybe, I can do something like this.’ I remember that I grew up thinking about it. I think, maybe from the age of 13 or 14, I started dreaming of becoming Miss India. And my parents of course, not happy. They were a little stressed.”
