Let’s ‘bat’ on Inaaya

Soha Ali Khan’s daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu recently received a very special gift. The gift has come from legendary and former Indian’s women team captain Mithali Raj and it’s a cricket bat. 

Mithali wrote a special message on the bat, which says, “To Inaaya, it’s never too early to start.” 

Soha posted the photo of this special gift on her Twitter and captioned it, “Thank you so much @M_Raj03 for this very precious present for Inaaya!! Can’t wait for her to grow into it – until then we will be watching you continue to make India proud on the field.”

Mithali replied back to Soha by tweeting, “Thank you!! And you’re most welcome! There’s bound to be some cricket in her blood!” With this tweet, Mithali was referring to MansoorAli Khan Pataudi, who was not just a great batsman but was also among the best fielders in the world. With this gift, we hope Inaaya continues the legacy of her family and make them proud.
