Dharmendra’s 84th birthday: Bobby, Esha Deol wish father ''good health''

CHANDIGARH: Veteran actor Dharmendra or let’s say “daddy dearest” welcomed his 84th birthday with a lot of love from his children—Esha Deol and Bobby Deol.

Veteran actor Dharmendra or let’s say “daddy dearest” welcomed his 84th birthday with a lot of love from his children—Esha Deol and Bobby Deol.

On Sunday, in a series of posts Esha wished her father “good health” always. 

Along with the pictures, Esha wrote: “Happy birthday papa. love u ! Stay blessed, happy & healthy always. @aapkadharam.”

Sharing a picture from his childhood, Bobby took to Instagram and wrote: "Man with the golden heart!! A very happy birthday papa."

In the black and white image, the little Bobby is seen smiling while sitting alongside his father Dharmendra.

Dharmendra's youngest child Ahana Deol also posted an adorable wish for her father.

"I have learned a lot from you. Courage, patience, forgiveness and a lot more but most importantly I've learned how to love and you do that best without a lesson or advice. It's just natural. I love you so deeply. Happy birthday, my sweet papa. Wish you nothing but the best," Ahana posted.

Several users came forward to wish the original He-Man of Bollywood.

One user wrote: “Happy Birthday!! Mr.Dharamji. My god bless you with good Health,Wealth,Peace and Happiness!! Enjoy your Day Fullest!!”, one said: “Happy Birthday to my favourite human being ..Wishing Dharam ji very happy and healthy life”, another user wrote: “Happiee birthday to ur handsome dad Dharmender.”

The veteran actor, who was born in Punjab’s Ludhaina district into a Jat Sikh family in 1935, is the son of a school headmaster. Dharmendra got into Bollywood through the ‘Filmfare’ talent hunt contest. 

These days, Dharmendra spends most of his time on his farm in the outskirts of Mumbai. He is very active on social media. He posts pictures, videos and throwback pictures.
