Chetan Pandit is all set to play the role of Chanakya in the show Porus. The actor, who was last seen in the show Baba Ramdev, has played the role of Chanakya before as well and says that it’s one of his favourites. “Chanakya is a very strong character. When I was a student at the National School of Drama, I played Chanakya in a special production for five hours. Not only did I enact the character, but there were also some Kathakali moves that I had to do. With every word, there was one Kathakali gesture to do and we were trained specially for that. I was really praised for that,” he says.
The actor adds that Chanakya’s role in Porus’ life has an interesting angle to it, which will be explored in the show.
