Laung and Lachi

The name of the up and coming Punjabi movie Laung Lachi is pretty unusual, but what is more interesting is the star cast. Writer-director Amberddeep Singh and Neeru Bajwa come together on screen for the first time. The film also stars singer-actor Ammy Virk in a pivotal role. The film releases on March 9. Amberdeep has also written the story of Laung Lachi and directed it as well!

Ammy take two

Ammy Virk is like one of the busiest artistes in the industry right now. After Laung Lachi, the actor has started the shoot of his next film Qismat, starring Sargun Mehta. It is interesting to note that Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta came together for Ammy Virk’s hit single, Qismat and now the two are together for a film with the same title. The film is directed by Jagdeep Sidhu.

More patriotism

Punjabi film industry’s love for war films and patriotism has just begun. First, we had the much-awaited Rangroot and Subedar Joginder Singh and now, we have another popular singer-actor Tarsem Jassar playing an Army man in the up and coming film Daana Paani. Tarsem will be sharing screen space with Jimmy Shergill and Simi Chahal in the film. 

Star power 

Punjabi film Rangroot, starring Diljit Dosanjh and directed by Pankaj Batra, is already in the news for its impactful trailer. At the same time, there is one actor, Yograj Singh, who is getting appreciation for his role in the film. Recently, Diljit Dosanjh shared a picture of Yograj Singh on his Instagram page. Looks like Yograj is sure to win hearts and awards for his role in the film.

Rohit’s back 

Director Rohit Jugraj of Jatt James Bond and Sardaar ji fame is back, with a Hindi film. Rohit is currently in Chandigarh shooting with Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh for the film titled Arjun Patiala. Rohit and Diljit come back together once again after Sardaarji 1 and 2.

Recently, an Instagram page posted a video of Jasmine Sandlas and Garry Sandhu lip locking. But what it actually was that the two artistes were sharing a cookie! Even this is new for the industry!

What happens when three turbantors of the industry come together, well, we have a perfect click! Singer-actors Ranjit Bawa, Ammy Virk and Tarsem Jassar come together for a picture. Who knows, we might see them together in a film!
