For rest of us who cannot understand the depth of this word, cool, let’s just go around the circle and see what’s heating up.

Ninja warrior is here

Director Pankaj Batra shared the first look poster of his upcoming film Channa Mereya. The film is presented by White Hill Studios and Zee Studios and marks the entry of Punjabi singer Ninja in the Punjabi film industry. The film releases on July 14.

Channa Mereya is the Punjabi remake of the super-hit Marathi film Sairat!

Another frame

The award-winning video directors Puneet S Bedi and Mohit Middha of Frame Singh are already bathing under the Kaniyan of singer Kaur B’s upcoming single Kaniyan.

Jatinder Shah has given the music and it has been written by Veet Baljit. Frame Singh has given Kaur B a traditional look in the video, which has been shot in Jalandhar. The track releases May 26, and is sure to get the duo another award as the industry is predicting.

Vardi wala Gagan

Punjabi singer Gagan Kokri’s new single Jealously is shown as DSP Sandhu in the video. His video, in fact, has invited some interesting response from his fans. For instance, one of his fans requested Gagan to not give him a challan! The song is presented by PTC Punjabi and PTC Motion Pictures.

Love calling

Yuvika Chaudhary, who is seen in many Punjabi music videos or films, has shared the poster of the new track by her and Prince Narula of Roadies fame, which is called Hello Hello. The song is produced by Gunbir Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu and it is apparently a modern love story.

Decked up

Bunty Bains Productions Deck Swaraj Te, sung by Jenny Johal and featuring Jordan Sandhu, has already struck the right notes. The song became so famous that Swaraj (the brand) felicitated the artistes related to it at an event. Viren Popli, chief operating officer, Swaraj Tractor division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, shared the same on his Twitter handle. Hail the lyricists of Punjabi songs, in this case, it is Bunty Bains!
