After sharing screen space in ‘Pink’, actors Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming thriller 'Badla'. The film is the remake of the 2016 Spanish thriller film, ‘Contratiempo’.

Produced by actor Shah Rukh Khan's production house, Big B and Taapsee released the posters of the film on Monday.

The tag line of the poster left fans intrigued.

It read: “Maaf Kar Dena Har Baar Sahi Nahi Hota,” which means that forgiving someone every time is not right.

The makers of the film released the trailer on social media on Tuesday.

The trailer begins with a voice over of Bahchan’s. He says, “Badla lena har baar sahi nahi hota, lekin maaf kar dena bhi har baar sahi nahi hota” (It’s not always right to take revenge but it’s also not right to always forgive).

Amitabh plays a lawyer, who Tapsee hires as she has been accused of murder, but she insists that she is innocent.

Amitabh shared the trailer and tweeted: “Badal Gupta 40 saal mein ek bhi case nahi haara, aur koi badla mere iss record ko nahi badal sakta.
