From dentist to becoming an actor, how has been your journey?

I’m from Noida. My mom is a homemaker and my father is into security business. I was always a cinema buff and Bollywood used to attract me a lot. So, I decided to pursue my passion and landed in Mumbai.

Do you have any regrets about not practising as  a doctor?

Absolutely not! Education is really important for an individual to pursue his career in any industry and its never a waste. Although I am not practicing, I still help people who come to me with dental problems.

You made your debut with popular show Udaan. How was the experience?

My character was Prakash in Udaan, who is the best friend of Sameer (lead). Prakash was very jovial and total desi. The response I got for my role was pretty good. People loved Prakash, they still message me on social media and appreciate my performance.

How did you get the reality show Skull and Roses?

Actor’s profile keeps floating in production houses in Mumbai. I got a call from Monozygotic Productions for an audition and got selected.

bEvery individual has two qualities one is selflessness and the other is selfishness. And both of them were required to survive on this show. When you were on Rose Island you needed to be selfless. On the other hand, on Skull Island you needed to be selfish and think about only yourself. So basically it’s a fight between we and me.

Were you apprehensive about doing bold scenes?

Of course, I was apprehensive about the bold scenes but being an actor I had to challenge myself and push my limits. So I did whatever was mandatory but didn’t indulge in unnecessary stuff just to gather attention.

What kind of work are you looking out for?

I’m open to everything but more inclined towards action, suspense or thriller oriented drama.

How do you unwind?

I go for various activities like taekwondo, boxing and cycling. I make sure I talk to my parents every day. Also, I love to travel and I go on road trips with my friends whenever I get time.
