The first shooting schedule of Ranveer Singh’s starrer ‘‘83’ has begun and their first stop is London.

In true team style, the cast reached the Mumbai airport on a team bus.

Sharing a picture of the ‘men in blue’, the official Twitter handle of ’83 wrote: “It’s game time. #83SquadOnTheMove The journey begins.”

Dressed nattily— in black and white suits, and sporting blue ties.

In the picture, we can see Ranveer (Kapil Dev), Harrdy Sandhu (Madan Lal) and Saqib Saleem (Mohinder Amarnath) among others. The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin (Sunil Gavaskar), Ammy Virk (Balwinder Sandhu), Tamil actor Jiiva (Krishnamachari Srikkanth) and Sahil Khattar (Syed Kirmani).

Ranveer also took to Twitter to share the team’s photo as he wrote: “Kapil’s Devils.”

Director Kabir Khan had earlier gathered the team in Dharamshala to undergo a training camp where they were  trained by cricket veterans of the 83 World Cup.

The sports drama is based on India’s 1983 World Cup win against West Indies under the captainship of Kapil Dev.

Touted as the "biggest sports film" of the country, the film is slated for April 10, 2020, release.
