Eligibility: Indian students with requisite english proficiency and higher secondary qualification for undergraduate admissions or graduation degree for postgraduate admissions at the Sheffield Hallam University, UK may apply for this scholarship program.

Details: All selected undergraduate scholars will be awarded with 50% tuition waiver for the complete course duration while the selected postgraduate scholars will be awarded a 50% tuition fee waiver for the first year of their studies.

Queen's University Belfast Scholarship

Queen's University Belfast, UK is offering merit-based scholarships to aspiring Indian students & professionals for pursuing under-graduation and post-graduation from UK. The scholarship is open for all the programmes offered by the university.

Eligibility: For under-graduation courses, the applicants must have minimum of 75% in class XII board. For post-graduation courses, the applicants must have minimum of 60% in graduation degree. IELTS score of 6.5 bands with 6 bands in each component is also required.  

Details: Varying scholarships from GBP 2000 to 3000 is available. Students will also be eligible for consideration of fully funded Vice-chancellor's international scholarship.

DST Postdoctoral Fellowship 

Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is awarding monthly fellowship and other benefits to selected research applicants for undertaking R&D projects, studies, etc at recognised research institutions in India. The fellowship also covers other benefits as scheduled by government norms and research necessities.

Eligibility: Indian students who have a PhD degree in Science or Engineering; or have submitted the PhD thesis for interests in nano-science and technology may apply for this fellowship if they are below 40 years of age.

Details: Selected Fellows will be provided with a monthly stipend of ?55,000 (fellows with Ph.D.) or ?45,000 (fellows with submitted thesis) along with a contingency research grant of ?2,00,000 per annum for a period of two years.

SERB National Post Doctoral Fellowship

Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India; is providing financial assistance to young researchers for conducting post-doctoral research in the fields of science and engineering.

Eligibility: Indian citizens with PhD/MS/MD degree willing to pursue post-doctoral research may apply for this fellowship. All applicants should not be more than 35 years of age. 

Details: A monthly stipend of Rs 55,000. Selected applicants with pending degree status will get monthly stipend of Rs 35,000 for research duration. All selected scholars will get a research grant of Rs 2 lakh per annum and a contingency grant of Rs 1 lakh per annum.
