SRM University has been awarded a Four Star rating by Quacquarelli Symonds ('QS'), a leading global higher education company. Only two universities in India can boast of this unique distinction. This Rating brings SRM in top 125 Institution Universities with 4 Star or more out of 275 Institutes across the world. 

SRM University went under a rigorous audit by QS where University is evaluated under different criteria, including  teaching , employabilty , research, internationalization, facilities, innovation, inclusiveness and  specialist programme. Based on the above parameters QS awards an overall rating also.  Out of these 8 parameters SRM University has been awarded the maximum 5 Star rating on Teaching, employability and Inclusiveness 

Conference for embedded control engineers

Registrations are now open for Microchip Technology Inc.’s annual India MASTERs Conference.  The conference will take place on December 5-8 in Bangalore. The conference is a premier technical training event for embedded control engineers and is designed to provide engineers with a forum for sharing and exchanging technical information on Microchip’s large portfolio of products and to serve as a design resource for using these products in applications. This year’s conference will feature 51 classes on Microchip’s 8-, 16- and 32-bit PIC® microcontrollers (MCUs), high-performance analog and interface solutions, dsPIC® digital signal controllers, wireless communication, touch and input sensing solutions, cryptography for embedded systems, Ethernet and USB solutions, embedded Linux® and the MPLAB® development ecosystem. 

Classes are available for all levels of experience. Out of the 51 classes offered, 20 classes are hands-on workshops that enable attendees to learn more about specific applications by using development tools and writing code in the classrooms.  — TNS
