ICAI students bag lucrative offers

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (a statutory body under an Act of Parliament) - the largest Cost & Management Accounting body in Asia and the second largest in the world, announced that the campus placements for the session December 2017 have got an overwhelming response from PSUs, MNCs and corporate houses of India.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (a statutory body under an Act of Parliament) - the largest Cost & Management Accounting body in Asia and the second largest in the world, announced that the campus placements for the session December 2017 have got an overwhelming response from PSUs, MNCs and corporate houses of India. The Institute had recently organised campus placement drive in four regions for December 2017 batch at Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata.  

Overall 40 companies visited the campus for the placement drive.  As many as 650 newly qualified CMAs appeared for placement interviews this year and 240 candidates were offered a job. As many as 180 newly qualified CMAs appeared for placement interviews in Delhi. Out of these, 67 candidates were selected. The highest salary package bagged in Delhi is Rs 17.5 lakh per annum which is an all-time record from Delhi. 

The highest salary package offered nationally this year is Rs 18 lakhs per annum and the average CTC offered is around Rs 7 lakh per annum. More than 15 per cent of the candidates were selected in the top salary bracket of Rs 11-18 lakh per annum. — TNS
