Department of Science & Technology, Government of Haryana, invites applications from candidates aspiring to pursue PhD. from any university in Haryana. The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship or fellowship.

Eligibility: Students pursuing MSc. or equivalent degree in life sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, mathematical sciences and engineering  with 55 per cent marks are eligible to apply. Applicants must have cleared NET and should not be more than 28 years of age.

Details: Junior research fellow will be givenRs 18,000 p.m. for the first two years, senior research fellow will receive Rs 21,000 p.m. for third and subsequent years and annual contingency of Rs 20,000 will be given by the university.

Nurture scholarships

This scholarship is for students who are pursuing graduation programme. Bright students from poor families are eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility: Students pursuing graduation with 75 per cent and above in the last examination and having family income less than Rs 2 lakh p.a. from all  sources are eligible to be considered for the call.

Details: Each selected scholar will be awarded an amount of Rs 20,000.

Fellow programme in management

Young graduates and post-graduates are called under this four- year full-time fellowship programme being offered by ISB, Hyderabad. Candidates looking forward to specialise in the area of accounting, information systems, financial economics, marketing operations, management strategy and organisational behaviour can apply for this opportunity.

Eligibility: The applicant must be a graduate or postgraduate with excellent communication skills, possessing superior academic record. The applicant must have obtained a valid test score of GRE, GMAT, CAT or JRF.

Details: Selected and eligible candidates will be given tuition fee waiver, living expenses in the form of scholarship worth Rs 48,000 per month besides well-furnished accommodation, medical insurance for students and their dependents.

Riley family scholarship

MBA aspirants who demonstrate exceptional academic merit, potential, and have come from a disadvantaged background overcoming adversity are sought under this scholarship. The scholarship is given for admission to Imperial College Business School.

Eligibility: Selection will be on the basis of performance during admission, essay submission, GMAT score, excellence academic and professional record.

Details: GBP 51,000 will be awarded.
