Two held for drug peddling

The Phagwara police today arrested two persons over allegeded involvenment in drug trade.

They accused have been identified as Sandeep Kumar alias Bomb and Deepak Kumar. Both accused are residents of Bahani village.

The police recovered 560 intoxicant tablets and capsules and 30 gm of smack from their possession.

The police said the accused Sandeep was nabbed near Panchhatt with 500 capsules of Spasvon and 60 tablets of Alprax, while Deepak was arrested near Drain bridge, Bahani, with 30 gm of smack.
