Those faced with corruption in the treasury office can now lodge a direct complaint with the Secretary, Finance, Punjab. A notice board, which the government has asked all district treasury offices to put up at their offices, empowers the common man to do just that.

In view of the reports of harassment and corruption faced by the public at treasury offices, the government has henceforth instructed all treasury offices to put up notices regarding zero tolerance to corruption. The notice the offices have been asked to put up reads: "The state government has adopted a zero tolerance policy towards corruption.
