Trader wins Rs1-cr lottery

Sanpreet Singh, who runs stationery-cum-mobile phone shop in Mahilpur town, won a Rs 1 crore lottery. He said a lottery vendor used to visit their market but he never thought of trying his luck in lottery. A few days ago, he had bought a lottery ticket only on the insistence of a lottery vendor. He said he had been running the shop for several years. Recently, when the vendor visited him, he refused to buy the ticket. The former told him that he had only two tickets left with him. His friends also insisted that he buy it. Hence, he bought it and forgot about the same.

When he came to know that he had won the prize of Rs 1 crore, he could not believe it. He said he would be invest the amount won by him in business. — OC
