Three youths held with intoxicating powder

The police have arrested three youths with intoxicating powder.

Vikramjit Singh, in-charge of Talwara police station, said during a naka near the Kandi Canal on the Talwara-Mukerian road, a car, which was coming from the opposite direction, was signalled to stop but the three occupants of the vehicle tried to flee the spot. However, the police arrested them after a chase. During the search, 25 gm of intoxicating powder was recovered from one of the suspects, Sahil Kairon of Sector 5, and 35 gm each of intoxicating powder was recovered from Shahjad and Mukesh of Sector 3. A case has been registered. — OC
