Thieves strike at engineer’s house

PHAGWARA: The house of Divisional Engineer Telegraph (DET), Phillaur, was reportedly burgled in the Prempura locality here on Sunday night.

The house of Divisional Engineer Telegraph (DET), Phillaur, was reportedly burgled in the Prempura locality here on Sunday night.

Burglars entered the house after breaking open the locks and took away cash amounting to Rs 30,000 and an attache case containing valuable documents.

Later, the attache case was found in a nearby fields. A case has been registered in this regard. — OC
