Teachers form committee, flay govt’s policies

Teachers of the Education Department today formed the Adhyapak Sangharsh Committee at the Desh Bhagat Yadgaar Hall here today bringing all teachers under one umbrella.

After formulating the committee, the teachers chalked out an action plan to be taken at the district- level from January 22 onwards and the state-level action plan to be taken from January 27 onwards, adding that they would gherao the Education Minister OP Soni.

Teachers said: “The major revelations will be made with regard to teachers’ actions ahead of the 2019 elections in the state on January 27.”

The teachers said: “We are forced to make the umbrella group due to the constant victimisation of teachers, terminations, far away transfers and non-regularisation of jobs.”
