Students take part in ‘Sci-bration’

JALANDHAR: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KVM) organised “Sci-bration 2019”, the celebration of science and innovation under the “DBT Star College Scheme” sponsored by the Department of Bio-technology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KVM) organised “Sci-bration 2019”, the celebration of science and innovation under the “DBT Star College Scheme” sponsored by the Department of Bio-technology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. 

The primary aim for conducting the event was to create a scientific temper among students. A total of 300 students participated in the competition and various events. Dr Sushma Chopra, secretary, KMV Managing Committee, graced the event as the chief guest. 

The chief guest laid emphasis on the role of science in today’s world and said science was instrumental in the development of the nation.  Principal Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the science faculty for organising  the event. The Overall Trophy was bagged by Khalsa College, Civil Lines, Ludhiana and first runner-up was Government College for Girls, Ludhiana.
