Sewerage board to recover Rs12.17 lakh from govt departments

PHAGWARA: The Water Supply and Sewerage Board has yet to recover an amount of Rs 12,17,038 which has been pending from the last two years, from various government departments.

The Water Supply and Sewerage Board has yet to recover an amount of Rs 12,17,038 which has been pending from the last two years, from various government departments.

This includes Rs 7,09,544 from Tehsil Complex, Phagwara, Rs 1,83,211 from the Railway Station, Phagwara, Rs 2,34,201 from Central Patwarkhana, Rs 90,082 from the Veterinary Office, Phagwara, for water and sewerage usages.

Notices have been issued to the officers concerned in this regard.

This was confirmed by Subdivisional Officer of Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Phagwara, Pardeep Chattanni, here today.

Giving details of the Tehsil Complex only Chattanni said the arrears include Rs 70,714 from SDM Court, Civil, Phagwara, Rs 93,620 from SDM Residence, Rs 16,378 from Tehsildar Office, Rs 1,22,290 from Sub Judge Residence, Rs 1,29,507 from Tehsildar Residence, Rs 1,20,037 from Naib Tehsildar Residence, Rs 1,56,998 from Khazana Office, Phagwara.
