Harvard Business Publishing School organised a faculty development session for the faculty of the Department of Business Studies. The speaker, Lav Nigam, focussed on the methods that help in making the transmission of knowledge from the faculty to the students effective.

He discussed the methods of teaching, followed by Harvard Business Publishing School. He apprised the faculty of DAV University of how they could benefit from the available resources developed by Harvard Publishing Business School.

He told the faculty of downloadable tools, packed with practical tips and a large number of resources present at the website of school.

He threw light on the importance of the usage of case studies and simulations for the students. Lav Nigam also demonstrated how the simulation tools function.

Earlier, Desh Bandhu Gupta, Dean, Academics, said keeping pace with global development in business studies was essential, adding that the session would go a long way in enhancing the quality of teaching at the university.
