Scrutiny of poll documents held

General observer for the Jalandhar parliamentary (seat I) Samuel Anand Kumar and DC Varinder Kumar Sharma today held scrutiny of registers of voters (Form-17), scrutiny of presiding officers’ diaries and other related documents in the presence of candidates who are in the fray and representatives of political parties. The observer and the DC also checked micro observers' reports, video recordings, visitor sheets, reports of zonal magistrates, etc. "During the scrutiny, these records were found accurate and candidates and agents of parties shown satisfaction. The report of the scrutiny had been sent to the ECI after scrutiny," the DC said. — TNS
