Rs 70k, jewellery taken away

PHAGWARA: The house of Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Chahal Nagar locality, was reportedly burgled on Monday night. The miscreants entered the house after breaking open the locks and decamped with Rs 70,000 in cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.5 lakh. A case has been registered. OC

Phagwara : A laptop and four mobile phones were found stolen from the paying guest accommodation of a student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) near the university on Monday night. The victim, Parveij Ahmed, is a resident of Rajasthan. A case has been registered. OC
