Seminar dwells on property Bill

Sudarshan Parkash Memorial Committee today organised a seminar on Public Private Property Damage Bill 2014 at village Lambra in Jalandhar. A paper on the repercussions of the Bill was read at the seminar by Darshan Khatkar.

Khatkar said the Bill has been introduced to suppress the struggle of the working class in the state. He said the government has been sheltering corporate and feudal elements.

He said the SAD-BJP government in the state is trying to promote privatisation and neo-liberal policies with the Bill. Fertile land will be acquired forcibly to hand it over to big corporates, he alleged.

He termed the Bill as undemocratic and unconstitutional.
