Punjab Police sail into semis in hockey meet

JALANDHAR: In the ongoing 67th All India Police Hockey Championship, being played at PAP headquarters, Punjab Police reached the semi-final by beating J&K Police 6-0 on Thursday.

In the ongoing 67th All India Police Hockey Championship, being played at PAP headquarters, Punjab Police reached the semi-final by beating J&K Police 6-0 on Thursday. The Punjab Police will compete with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in semi-final.

Border Security Force (BSF) beat Maharashtra Police 7-1 and entered the semi-final. CRPF beat Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) 2-1.

In the match that was played between Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Odisha Police, Odisha Police won the match 2-1.

The 67th All India Police Hockey Championship was commenced on September 14 and would culminate on September 21.
