The police today caught three persons, including a Nigerian, on charges of drug peddling in the city.

According to the police, Butter, a native of Nigeria, used to bring drugs from Dwarka in Delhi to distribute here to students of various colleges and universities.

The other two accused were identified as Deepak and Pankaj, bother brothers and natives of Sonipat in Haryana. The police, during checking on the Maheru road, arrested a person with 3 gm of heroin. Deepak revealed in interrogation that his brother Pankaj, a student of Lovely College, was in contact with the Nigerian who used to bring heroin from Dwarka in Delhi. The police acting on the information arrested Butter Nnaman Enugu and Pankaj with 58 gm of heroin near Haveli. The police have registered a case. — TNS
