A team of the CIA staff, seized 100-gm heroin from Nnamdi, a Nigerian national, and arrested him today. The accused was arrested at a checkpost laid by the CIA police staff commissionerate at Damoria overbridge, near the city railway station.
The CIA team said the accused, who resides in Dwarka, New Delhi, frequently used to come to the city for allegedly supplying intoxicants.
“He came to India on a work visa in 2014 and used to sell garments in Delhi. Meanwhile, he came in contact with drug peddlers,” added the members of the CIA staff.
A case under Sections 21, 61 and 85 has been registered against the accused.
