Provide quality education at schools: Education Secy

TALWARA: Secretary of School Education, Punjab, Krishna Kumar, on Monday visited various schools in Talwara area, including Government Senior Secondary School Kukanet, Government Senior Secondary School, Dholbaha, Government Senior Secondary School Sector-1 and Government Kanya Senior Secondary School Sector-3.

Secretary of School Education, Punjab, Krishna Kumar, on Monday visited various schools in Talwara area, including Government Senior Secondary School Kukanet, Government Senior Secondary School, Dholbaha, Government Senior Secondary School Sector-1 and Government Kanya Senior Secondary School Sector-3.

He walked all the way for a mile to across the gorge having rainy water flowing in it, to reach Kukanet. While addressing the teachers, he emphasised on the need for creating a creative environment and provide quality education at the schools. He encouraged the Heads and teachers of the schools to improve the exterior and interior appearance of the schools, as well as make appropriate use of the e-content being provided by the department for the purpose of achieving 100 per cent results.

He said the projects, being run by the Education Department like the daily Punjabi and the English word collection have been very useful. “It is comforting that in the most remote areas like Kukanet and Talwara, quality education is being provided in line with the urban areas.”

He inspired the teachers to have a daily walk with the Fit-Guru app.

He praised the principal Suresh Kumari and the team of teachers for the special work done at Government Kanya Senior Secondary School, Talwara. The students answered the questions asked by the Education Secretary.
