Jalandhar, November 10
A third year student of BTech (computer science) from Lovely Professional University has come up with a mobile application that can aid hearing and speech impaired persons to communicate with those who do not understand the sign language.
Mudit Sinha said he had devised an app called Myability a few days ago, which speaks up anything typed on it by the speech-disabled user for the other person to hear it. He said he had shared his innovation with some differently abled persons and was now taking their feedback from them.
Hailing from Varanasi, he said he had so far not put up the application on Google Playstore but it could be opened using the link — shortto.com/Myability app.
“I have plans to add more features for the hearing impaired in the application but I want their feedback to come first. Once the feedback comes, I will upload it on Google Playstore in the next 10 days or so. So far, the app only uses English language. I want to add more languages in it in the next stage,” he added. — TNS
