Meet on dengue prevention

Jalandhar, June 20

Civil Surgeon Harpreet Singh Kahlon held a meeting on dengue with various departments in Kapurthala today. ADC (development) Avtar Singh Bhullar, SDM Nayan Bhullar and MLA Rana Gurjit Singh were among those present.

The Civil Surgeon emphasised on the fact that the accumulation of clean water in our surroundings helps breeding of the dengue mosquito. He said the department’s target to spread awareness about dengue prevention at houses was only possible with the cooperation of all departments. Officials of the Education and Panchayat departments were told to co-operate with the Health and other departments. —TNS
