Man hangs himself, dies

PHAGWARA: Hari Singh, a resident of Chabbewal village in Hoshiarpur district, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at a park near the railway station yesterday morning.

Hari Singh, a resident of Chabbewal village in Hoshiarpur district, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at a park near the railway station yesterday morning. Mental stress is said to be the cause behing the suicide. The Government Railway Police have registered a case and handed over the body to the family members after a post-mortem.
