Man ‘commits suicide’ over retiral dues

Sucha Singh, a resident of Babak, who had retired from Cooperative Society, Ghorewaha, in 2015, allegedly committed suicide.  He was missing from his house since last night. His body was found hanging with a tree outside the village today. He was working as a watchman. He had left a suicide note, stating the reasons that led him to take the step.

He had retired on April 30, 2015, and his retirement benefits were calculated to be Rs 4,36,702. 

Sources said whenever he went to the bank and talked about his payment, he did not get any positive response and had to return empty-handed. 

The Tanda police were investigating the authenticity of the suicide note. 

No case has yet been registered in this regard. OC
