A youth today committed suicide after being allegedly harassed by an “angry woman” who had been continuously troubling him since December 2016.

The deceased was identified as Deepak Choudhary, a resident of Khodiyaan Mohalla. In the suicide note recovered from his pocket, Deepak Choudhary had accused a woman Kamla Devi of harassing him a lot by calling him repeatedly.

Deepak had written that once when he had stopped taking her calls, the woman had threatened to lodge a false complaint of sexual harassment against him and of putting him behind bars.

Also, he had stated that the woman had accused him of taking money and some gold jewellery from her. The woman had also threatened his father with dire consequences and had created a scene at his house.

Deepak stated that the woman was a “psychopath” and he was committing suicide due to extreme mental pressure. “She does not talk to my parents or to my relatives and even does not allow me to speak to them,” stated his suicide note.
