Lucky candidate

Luck was on the side of the SAD candidate today from ward number 62 of MC Puran Singh Rathore during the ongoing civic polls.

It was reportedly just in the nick of time that some leaders checked the errors in his papers and got another corrected set submitted. During scrutiny, the set in which the name of a proposer from another ward had been wrongly added was rejected. The first set of his covering candidate and son Kabal Singh too got rejected on the same grounds. The second, corrected papers of the candidate stand accepted, making him eligible for the contest. SAD leader Baljit Singh Neelamahal said it was only the old set which had been rejected. — TNS
