LPU launches new courses

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has launched new programmers with marked specialisations. Students can pursue the programmes, including diploma in digital photography; BSc (Hons) statistics.

After graduation in management, such new programmes are MBA in corporate affairs and governance; corporate audit and tax management; cost management and financial analysis.

LPU has also tied up with WileyNXT, one of the leading ‘Business Analytics, companies to launch a specialized MBA programme in Business Analytics. After graduation in Agriculture, the varsity has started MSc Agriculture in Horticulture (floriculture and landscaping).

After graduation in engineering, MTech in machine learning and artificial intelligence; instrumentation and control; renewable energy; environmental engineering; embedded systems; data science and analytics; computing systems and infrastructure; information security and cyber forensics have been introduced.

After completing graduation in journalism and film production, the new programmes are post graduate diploma in TV production; post graduate diploma in advertising and public relations; MSc (electronic and new media).

New programme after graduation in mathematics is MSc (statistics and data analytics), while after graduation in environmental studies the varsity has started MSc (environmental sciences).

Besides, LPU integrated programmes that provide students Bachelor and Master degree together in 4 years have been attracting the students.

These programs are formed after the new guidelines of UGC that has come in the favour of students. Under these programmes the students are able to save one year as well as fee.

LPU chancellor Ashok Mittal said: “LPU has been working with the industry. Based on various inputs on the market trends as well as job profile requirements. The programmes are designed in collaboration with the industry.”
