Jalandhar: Students of Sanskriti KMV School witnessed a live session on interaction by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the students of schools and colleges across the world focusing on the issue of handling examination stress. The webcast as an extraordinary initiative, gave the students a morale booster and wished them luck for the best performance in the examination.   Rachna Monga, School Principal, in her address to students, mentioned it as a tremendously successful venture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to bring the young generation in a single thread through motivational and inspirational  guidance.  TNS

PM’s LIVE streaming 

Jalandhar: 864 Students of Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s LIVE streaming ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’. The PM discussed the importance of stress-free exams. The session “Pariksha Par Charcha” was aired in the school from 12 noon to 1:30pm. Students of grade 6th to 12th attended the Prime Minister’s LIVE streaming in the school. Prime Minister Modi insisted that the students should not be worried while giving exams. He even charted a ‘guide’ for students on how to approach exams like a ‘warrior’. PK Dhillon, Principal stated that it was an important session and students were enlightened through the same. Students were thankful to the honourable Prime Minister for LIVE streaming of “Pariksha Par Charcha”. TNS

Cricket tourney for boys

Jalandhar: CT Polytechnic College hosted Punjab Technical Institutes Sports (PTIS) zonal two-day cricket tournament for boys at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur. The Chief Guest for the opening ceremony was Jagjit Singh, SP, Detective, Kapurthala escorted by ASI Mandeep Sharma, International Coach, Jagjit Wrestling Academy. vice-chairman of CT Group Harpreet Singh, and CTPC Principal Sansar Chand were also present during the tournament. In zone 2, 16 teams participated across Punjab namely Government Polytechnic College Bathinda, Government Polytechnic College Batala, Sai Polytechnic College, Badhani, Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara, CTPC Jalandhar and SBS Ferozepur. Pandit Jagat Ram Government Polytechnic College Hoshiarpur and St Soldier Polytechnic College, Jalandhar qualifies for inter-zonal tournament. While addressing the teams, Jagjit Singh said sports plays a vital role in the overall 

fitness of the people and such tournaments give boost to the budding cricketers to perform well. S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions congratulated the winners and performers of the tournament. He also congratulated the participating teams for their remarkable performances at the event. TNS
