Gurbachan Rahi, Arif Gobindpuri to get award

JALANDHAR: Dr Gurbachan Singh Rahi and Arif Gobindpuri will be conferred with the Kewal Vig Award-2015 for their contribution in the literature.

Dr Gurbachan Singh Rahi and Arif Gobindpuri will be conferred with the Kewal Vig Award-2015 for their contribution in the literature.

The award will be conferred by the Jalandhar-based Kewal Vig Foundation on December 4. The award is given in the memory of Late Kewal Vig, a journalist, to the people, who have gained excellence in literature.

Dr Gurbachan Singh Rahi has made a big contribution to the literary world. He has been serving as Assistant Director in the Bhasha Vibhag, Punjab, and Arif Gobindpuri has been famous for his poems in Urdu and Punjabi languages.
