Govt sanctions Rs 20 crore for development of Hoshiarpur

HOSHIARPUR: The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Punjab, and local MLA Sunder Sham Arora, said the state government had sanctioned Rs 20 crore to the Municipal Corporation for the development of the city, which would accelerate the pace of development in the city.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Punjab, and local MLA Sunder Sham Arora, said the state government had sanctioned Rs 20 crore to the Municipal Corporation for the development of the city, which would accelerate the pace of development in the city.

He said: “No stone will be left unturned for the development of the city in order to include Hoshiarpur in the list of best cities.”The minister said various social institutions had urged them for the approval of the development works of the city. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, Capt Amarinder Singh saying that when he spoke to the Chief Minister about the development of Hoshiarpur, he immediately accepted it. OC
