Four students Government Primary School were given corporal punishment by their class teacher in Bahani village on Saturday.

Four students Government Primary School were given corporal punishment by their class teacher in Bahani village on Saturday. The students, including Lal Mirza, Baroo, Mohammad Salman, and Razia were admitted in local Civil Hospital by their parents who alleged that their kids were unnecessarily beaten up by teacher Charanjit Kaur. They said their kids along with other students were returning back after hearing the news of a holiday but when they came out from the class, the teacher suddenly appeared and started beating them up with stick. On the contrary, the teacher denied the charges saying she just scolded them.—OC
