Ex-minister observes husband’s death anniversary at ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’

HOSHIARPUR: Former Union Minister of State, Santosh Chaudhary, observed the second death anniversary of her husband, former MLA, Ram Lubhaya, at ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’ today.

Former Union Minister of State, Santosh Chaudhary, observed the second death anniversary of her husband, former MLA, Ram Lubhaya, at ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’ today. She, along with her family members served food to beneficiaries under the project and had lunch at the ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’ with them.

She contributed Rs 21,000 for the ‘Sanjhi Rasoi Project’. She appreciated the ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’ being run by the District Administration and the Red Cross Society, providing quality food for just Rs 10.

She said: “ Nutritious food is being served here in a clean environment, for which the district administration and the Red Cross Society is worthy of commendations.”

She appealed that more and more people should come forward to celebrate their special day at the ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’.

Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Naresh Gupta, thanked Santosh Chaudhary and her family for their contribution extended to the ‘Sanjhi Rasoi’ and presented mementoes to them. OC
