Jalandhar, January 17
The zonal office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Jalandhar, filed a prosecution complaint against Navdeep Singh and Sarabjit Singh in the Court of District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, which has been admitted.
Non-bailable warrants have been issued against accused persons.
The case came up following an FIR registered by the police authorities under Sections 21, 25, 29 under the NDPS Act.
The Enforcement Directorate had taken up investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act against the duo, who had conspired to smuggle 4.095 kg of heroin.
The Enforcement Directorate has already attached Rs 9 lakh involved in the illicit drug trade.
