Cylinders stolen

Three cooking gas cylinders and two gas stoves were found stolen from Government Senior Secondary School in Bhularai village on Saturday night. This was the second theft in the school during the last nine months. The police have registered a case.

4 injured in mishap

Four members of a Moga family sustained injuries when the car which they were travelling in dashed against a tree near Mannawala village on Phagwara-Nakodar road on Saturday night. The injured, Gursewak Singh, his wife Pooja and two kids Arman and Mania were admitted to the Civil Hospital.

1 held with stolen bike

The Phagwara police have arrested a motorcycle thief, Maninder Singh of Satnampura locality and recovered a stolen bike from him. The arrest was made at a check point in Hargobind Nagar, the police said.

4 drug peddlers held

The police on Sunday arrested four drug peddlers Daljit Singh, Hitesh, Sahibjit Singh and Rajni of Ranipur village. They have confessed their involvement in drugs trade, the police said.
