Coca Cola gives Rs 5 lakh for Samarpan scheme

With the Coca-Cola factory being set up in the Mahilanwali village of Hoshiarpur, not only will the opportunities of employment develop, but it will also open the doors of development in the area.  

The blue print of social and community service prepared by the factory owners will surely contribute to the development of the educational institutions and the area. 

Cabinet Minister Sunder Sham Arora said this while accepting a cheque of Rs 5 lakh for district administration's project from the company's managing director cum chairman Kailash Kumar Goenka for the uplift of govt schools. Deputy Commissioner Vipul Ujwal was also present on this occasion.

Cabinet Minister Sunder Sham Arora said Punjab government was working under a special policy to promote industries so that the means of employment can be created and the youth could be provided better opportunities of employment. 

He also assured of a grant of Rs 21 lakh for the development of a cremation ground.
