A workshop on the safer and compulsory use of Internet was organised by the department of computer, DAV College here today.

The aim behind organising the workshop was to aware students about the positive and educative use of the electronic Websites.

These days, misuse of the Net, WhatsApp and facebook have become common among youth of the country. Through cine-screen, students were encouraged to make reasonable use of websites.

Principal Dr Kiranjeet, said: “Man is the architect of his own fate. It is the moral duty and responsibility of each and everyone to surf computer for constructive and creative educational use. The Government should take stern and stringent measures to curb and control cyber crime.” — OC
