Brampton MP elated over visit to Kartarpur

JALANDHAR: Ramesh Sangha, MP, Brampton Centre, on Wednesday said he felt lucky that he was one of the dignitaries who went to Kartarpur on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Ramesh Sangha, MP, Brampton Centre, on Wednesday said he felt lucky that he was one of the dignitaries who went to Kartarpur on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.

Sangha went to Canada in 1994, and elected MP for the second consecutive time.

He is a practicing lawyer in Canada. Manoj Arora, general secretary, Punjab Congress, who had accompanied Sangha said that in this year’s election he got more than 47 per cent votes.

“He is a social activist and popular among city residents,” Arora said.
